Treats made with Essential Oils
This Dec. 21st business meeting for doTERRA essential oils was a treat for more than one reason. The first part of the presentation, dubbed ‘doTERRA Creative’, highlighted the creative efforts doTERRA consultants are using to share and promote essential oils. The second part of the meeting gave us all the chance to experience the oils first hand. Connie Polley [of cakesbyconnie.net] presented a variety of treats made using essential oils of lemon, rosemary, cinnamon, basil, peppermint and more. These included cookies, muffins, chocolate bars, brownies, lavender lemonade and more. Chef Curry presented a salad vinagerette, cream cheese spread, yogurt, and protien shake all enhanced using a variety of flavors that come from essential oils. All of the samples were delicious. If only every meeting could end like this one did.
Which delight was your favorite?
Everything was fantastic, but i would definately have to say how wonderful the chocolate shake was. It showed the power of a few drops of peppermint oil. I take it back the shake and the Strawberry lavender lemonade were tied for first place…. Ooo or maybe that awsome salad dressing. So many choices! I loved them all!
The presentation was exquisite! The edible Potpourri was so delicious that we couldn’t keep our hands of it. I brought the potpourri, brownies, & cupcakes home for my parents to taste, and they couldn’t get over how delicious everything was…because of the essential oils in them. I also would like to try to make that Orange Vinaigrette for our salads at home.
I’m definitely looking forward to the next ‘doTERRA Creative’ meeting. Thank you to Connie & Terrance for making everything so yummy!!
